Dog Walking Through History

Introducing "Dog Walking Through History" - a program that combines our love for dogs with our fascination for human history. This program explores the relationship between humans and dogs throughout time, from the domestication of dogs by early hunter-gatherer societies to the present day.

Led by an anthropologist and Preservation Twin Falls board member, Denyée Matthews, this program delves into the science, myths, and stories that have made dogs an integral part of human history. From Native American prehistory to modern-day dog breeds, "Dog Walking Through History" takes you on a journey that will inspire and educate you about the fascinating world of dogs.

Our ultimate goal is to create children's books that highlight the history of dogs in Twin Falls County and local dog walking tours that explore the unique relationship between dogs and humans in our community. We invite you to check back often to stay up-to-date on our latest projects and events. Join us as we celebrate the remarkable bond between humans and dogs, and discover the rich history that has made dogs such beloved companions throughout time.
